Independent business

We were given a task to photograph an independent business in Brighton. We chose to photograph a small and shy looking second hand book shop in the lanes called 'Brighton Books'. We chose this shop  because it had a really rustic and familiar feel to it. the shop had real personality - exactly what you would expect from a secondhand bookshop. This is reflected in the pictures we took.

After being unable to use the Nikon D7000 because there weren't any available, we decided to approach the task using our phones. This did hinder the quality of the pictures in some ways, but the main development of our understanding gained through completing this task still remains.
